Log in to startWhat this measures
How much information you can hold and manipulate at once. Digits flash one by one, and you type them in reverse order. The sequences get longer until you miss twice at the same length.
Why it matters
Working memory is your mental workspace. It limits how much you can juggle while reasoning, following instructions or doing mental math.
How it's scored
Your score is the longest sequence you reversed correctly. Most adults land between 4 and 6.
Tips
- Group digits into chunks of two or three.
- Say them quietly in your head as they appear.
- Don't start reversing until the last digit is shown.
